  jules bea7b83cb8 Renamed and refactored the LookAndFeel classes. The LookAndFeel class is now an abstract base-class, and there are 3 concrete subclasses you can use. These are LookAndFeel_V1 (replaces OldSchoolLookAndFeel), LookAndFeel_V2 (replaces what was the normal LookAndFeel class) and LookAndFeel_V3 (this is a new style, taken from the Introjucer's L+F). 11 years ago

  jules 10c73edf57 Removed const-ness from some return types of LookAndFeel font methods. Renamed LookAndFeel::getFontForTextButton() as getTextButtonFont() for consistency. Added LookAndFeel::getLabelFont(). Fixed a problem in Label where the label's font wasn't being correctly applied to the text editor when editing it. 12 years ago
  jules 3ddc6dd43d New class: DropShadow, and a complete refactoring of the way shadows are rendered. The DropShadowEffect and DropShadower classes now take a DropShadow object to describe their shadow parameters, instead of the raw numbers. 13 years ago

  jules 295d125142 Stopped using the old BEGIN_JUCE_NAMESPACE macros, and just used hard-coded namespaces where necessary instead. The macro definitions are still there, so this shouldn't affect anyone's code. 13 years ago

  Julian Storer f04309f44a Added fake placeholder versions of the new c++0x 'noexcept' and 'nullptr' keywords, and altered the library classes to use these instead of 'throw()' and '0'. This shouldn't make any difference at all to existing code, but will enable better static checking with future c++0x compilers. 14 years ago

  Julian Storer 7bc24ae42a The Point and Rectangle classes are now templated, so can be used for either float or int co-ordinates. This means that wherever you've used these classes, you'll need to replace them with Rectangle<int> or Point<float> in your code. A couple of methods in Path have changed to take advantage of the new ability. 15 years ago
  Julian Storer e61e8f6775 Changed some 'int's to 'size_t's, to improve 64-bit compatibility. Also changed jmin and jmax to use templates, so they can take any type. These changes might mean that you'll need to add some more explicit casts to get your existing code to compile, but this is actually a good thing - it brought to light a few dodgy implicit casts in my code, and may do the same in yours. Also added a function roundToInt(), which replaces roundDoubleToInt() and roundFloatToInt(), but takes any size of floating point number (I've left the old roundDoubleToInt() and roundFloatToInt() functions there for convenience, but will probably remove them in the future). 15 years ago

  Julian Storer cd88571081 Added methods Graphics::setTiledImageFill and Graphics::setGradientFill - these are now the preferred way to specify a fill type, rather than using the Brush classes (which will probably disappear at some point in the future). Also refactored and renamed some DrawablePath methods, which might require a few tweaks to your code if you use this class. 15 years ago
