  jules 58a99ff139 Dragged the singleton macros into the 21st century.. Cleaned up their implementation and gave them new upper-case names to match juce official style. The old names are still defined to avoid breaking old code, but please update before they get deprecated! 7 years ago

  jules 591e89cd87 Replaced the badly-named method Array::removeValue() with two new methods: removeFirstMatchingValue() and removeAllInstancesOf(). If you call the old method anywhere, you can just replace any calls with removeFirstMatchingValue(), which does the same job, but whose name makes it clear that not all instances of the value will be removed. 13 years ago

  Julian Storer f04309f44a Added fake placeholder versions of the new c++0x 'noexcept' and 'nullptr' keywords, and altered the library classes to use these instead of 'throw()' and '0'. This shouldn't make any difference at all to existing code, but will enable better static checking with future c++0x compilers. 14 years ago

  Julian Storer 5fecb8a353 Created a new class Component::SafePointer that keeps a pointer to a component and automatically nulls it if the component is deleted - this makes it a much more elegant replacement for the old ComponentDeletionWatcher class. Removed Component::getComponentUnderMouse(), which doesn't fit with multi-touch interfaces - for similar functionality, use the Desktop::getMouseInputSource() methods to find out what MouseInputSources are available, and ask them about the component they are over or dragging. 15 years ago

  Julian Storer 7bc24ae42a The Point and Rectangle classes are now templated, so can be used for either float or int co-ordinates. This means that wherever you've used these classes, you'll need to replace them with Rectangle<int> or Point<float> in your code. A couple of methods in Path have changed to take advantage of the new ability. 15 years ago

  Julian Storer c22c06c80c New class: ScopedPointer, which auto-releases a pointer when it goes out of scope. I've used this extensively to replace a lot of pointer deletions with more RAII-style patterns. 16 years ago
